and this is what I use for my DN-X1700

I bought it from Agiprodj
I think the rackmount kit for 1700 is the same for 1600

I would love to own the x1600 and need to make an immediate purchase - can anyone say for sure if there's a rackmount kit that fits the 1600?

DENON wrote:Hang on guys, they are the same size mixer, but the screw holes for the RM-DJ1700 does not line up with the X1600.
When will Denon put out a 19" rackmount kit for the 1600? Are they planning on it? Very frustrating

Of course at your own risk.

Right but if your case was tipped upside down the mixer would fall out from the information Ty gave me. He mentioned that the 1700 in the proper rack mount kit wouldn't fall out even if your case managed to get tipped over. Is that correct?
I understand from the Denon DJ (UK) that they are soon to be bringing out a combined 1600 and 1700 rackmount kit, which will fully encompass either mixer (sides, underneath, lower front etc) and will feature both the screwholes/mounting holes for the 1600 and 1700 mixers, all in the same kit.

DJ_Double_A wrote:If you drill out the corresponding holes in the x1700 rack kit so it matches the X1600 mixer holes, and then the rack adapter is screwed to the mixer and to the rack rails, the mixer won't fall out.
northeastdjs wrote:Has anyone done this with any success? Can someone speak to this with certainty?

northeastdjs wrote:I will let you know for sure. Just placed my order for the 1600 mixer and the 1700 rackmount kit this morning. Will work nicely with the 3700s. Lets hope I can get the kit drilled correctly!
